I’m Elmo, founder of Online Selects, an online boutique bringing together international fashion, a new personalized shopping service called the Fashion Club, artificial intelligence, and a human eye for style.

My journey over the decades has included online businesses, themed restaurants, technology consulting, and now AI, helping thousands turn their ideas into opportunities. It has also included setbacks that changed my plans—including losing almost everything more than once—from severe flooding of my home following changes to the surrounding land, to Hurricane María and later the pandemic.

Those experiences gave me hard-earned lessons in adaptation, resilience, and the importance of building with purpose and the future in mind. Today, I’m putting those lessons to work in a new beginning: a solution that can create opportunities for many others.

Technology Meets Personal Style

My background spans entrepreneurship, e-commerce, technology consulting, AI, and other business disciplines. Throughout that work, my passion has been finding practical ways for systems and technology to help people.

That commitment included e-commerce and technology consulting through the Small Business Administration–supported Small Business and Technology Development Center, helping thousands of entrepreneurs explore opportunities and strengthen their businesses.

About twenty-five years ago, I also created an annual Entrepreneurial Techno Fair with the SBDC, Microsoft, SAP, and other collaborators, bringing technology closer to business owners.

Online Selects carries that same purpose into fashion: using technology to understand individual preferences, discover possibilities, support thoughtful human recommendations, and bring a new shopping experience to more people.

Here’s how it works: your preferences will guide technology that searches international boutique offerings for pieces that reflect your tastes and personal style. A human style influencer will then review and refine those possibilities into suggestions. You then choose the options that feel right for you.

The Fashion Club — A Familiar Idea, Reimagined

Remember the Christmas Club? You saved regularly, knowing that at the end of the year, you would have funds ready for something you wanted. It gave you something to look forward to.

Now imagine enjoying that anticipation four times a year—with fashion individually selected around your tastes, your lifestyle, and your personal style.

The Online Selects Fashion Club is being developed to let members build shopping credit toward a personalized wardrobe selection every three months. After accumulating credit, you can choose from your suggestions, continue saving toward a future selection, or shop from the full catalog. You decide how to use your available credit.

It begins with us listening. You share your preferences through an easy profile. Your favorite looks and optional photos help us understand what you enjoy wearing and what you prefer to avoid.

AI-assisted searches will identify pieces from international boutique offerings that match your preferences. A style influencer will then review and refine those options into suggested clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories for you to explore and evaluate.

The planned Virtual Fashion Show will also let you see yourself virtually wearing suggested looks before deciding. Your choices and feedback will help make future selections more personal.

The goal is a platform that serves you while creating opportunities for boutiques and fashion influencers. As it grows, we envision members being able to choose—and change—their participating boutiques, style influencers, and Fashion Clubs.

The Boutique Is Running. The Next Chapter Needs Support.

The online boutique is already operating, with an initial selection of products available for purchase and a checkout process tested from beginning to end.

The next step is developing the Fashion Club’s technology: preferences profiles, AI-assisted selections, influencer review workflows, shopping credit management, and virtual fashion previews.

The technology, knowledge, and experience are in place to begin this work. Your support can help turn them into a working platform.

We’re preparing two ways to support its development:

• Funding with benefits: a separate campaign, planned to begin in November 2026, offering defined benefits to early supporters. The platform and offer details are being finalized.

• Philanthropic support through GoFundMe: a donation campaign currently being prepared as of October 15, 2026, for those who want to help bring this vision to life.

Support will help me dedicate time and resources to developing, integrating, and testing the platform and its operating processes. Each campaign will explain its purpose, terms, and use of funds.

Online Selects brings together my knowledge, experience, resilience, and commitment to planning ahead—including disaster recovery strategies built into the business from the start. It also carries my love for creating and what has always made my work meaningful: helping people turn possibilities into opportunities.

Now I’m working toward a platform that gives customers more personal choices and helps boutiques and style influencers put their talents to work in new ways—with technology that might otherwise be beyond their reach.

I bring experience, commitment, and a willingness to do the work. What I need now is support to develop the tools that will allow me to help others do more.
